I came into venture by working with startups from their very first days, in the US and back home in Southeast Asia, with a stint in strategy consulting at PwC Strategy& in New York along the way. I also host Founders In Motion, where founders talk honestly about the hard parts, and I write about what I am learning on LinkedIn.

How I ended up here

I have always been a tinkerer. As a student I built businesses, from a clothing brand to the largest student-run social enterprise in Vietnam. I then worked with startups in the US and Southeast Asia from their first days, building product, finding early customers and shaping companies inside a venture builder.

After Wharton, I joined PwC Strategy& in New York, advising private equity clients on buying large scale software businesses. It taught me how investors pull a business apart at the later stages.

In Australia I started Founders In Motion, because founder stories are usually told only once everything has worked out while the useful conversations are about the messy middle.

At Archangel I spend my days with founders at the very beginning, which is the part I find most interesting.
