At Archangel, we have had the privilege of supporting Heidi Health since its earliest stages, when it was still ‘Oscer’. Looking back on the original concept deck, many of the core ideas were already present: ambient transcription, clinical documentation, support for diagnosis. What changed over time wasn’t the vision, but the clarity of execution that only emerges through deep iteration.

Today, Heidi has grown into one of the most widely adopted AI tools in clinical practice. It is used weekly by nearly half of all GPs in the UK, with similar penetration in Canada and Australia. More importantly, it is delivering real outcomes: reducing burnout, enabling clinicians to return to practice, and expanding healthcare system capacity.

There are three key reasons we continue to back this team:

1. Founders deeply aligned with the end user: Heidi was not imagined from the outside in. It was built by clinicians, for clinicians, informed by first-hand experience and shaped by a clear understanding of daily pain points in healthcare delivery.
